What happens during the surgery?
On the day of the surgery, the patient spends about 3-4 hours in the clinic. In the case of a joint operation on two eyes, the patient will stay in the operating room for about 60 minutes. The operating room at our clinic is designed in accordance with the strictest sterility rules. If there is cataract in both eyes, we can operate on them at the same time. What happens after surgery?
After a quick check-up after the surgery, the patient can leave our clinic. On the same day, there may be mild stabbing pain, sensitivity to light, and blurred vision. After the procedure, 3 follow-up examinations are required, the dates of which are determined by the doctor. During these check-ups, the healing process is monitored and, if necessary, the post-treatment is changed. Eye drops must be used for 2 weeks after the surgery. After the surgery, the patient can live the same life as before the surgery.
