Dr. Kristóf obtained his medical degree from the Faculty of General Medicine at Semmelweis University in 2009. Following his graduation, he advanced his ophthalmology training at the Ophthalmology Clinic on Mária Street and the Szent Imre University Teaching Hospital, where he not only refined his clinical skills but also embraced the principles of patient-centered care. Furthering his specialization, Dr. Kristóf acquired foundational knowledge in refractive surgery in Italy and Malta.
Currently, Dr. Kristóf is privileged to perform a comprehensive array of ophthalmic surgeries at the Saint James Ophthalmology Center, utilising the most advanced and safest techniques available. His primary areas of expertise include cataract and refractive lens surgeries, laser vision correction procedures, and the implantation of ICL lenses for the treatment of high myopia.
Dr. Erika Baksa earned her medical degree from the University of Pécs Medical School and has been a specialist in ophthalmology since 2004. Early in her career, she worked at the Ophthalmology Clinic on Mária Street, where her experiences profoundly shaped her passion for the profession and her commitment to empathetic, high-quality patient care.
At the Saint James Ophthalmology Center, Dr. Baksa specializes in vision correction laser treatments, refractive lens surgeries, and cataract surgeries. She is supported by a state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic environment. Dr. Baksa firmly believes that healing is more effective and recovery is facilitated in a friendly, positive atmosphere. She feels privileged to practice a profession that not only addresses numerous patient issues but also enriches her own life.
Dr. Lóránt Dienes received his medical degree from the Faculty of General Medicine at Semmelweis University in 2009. He completed his specialty training at the South Pest Hospital and the Ophthalmology Clinic on Mária Street. Since earning his specialist certification, Dr. Dienes has been serving at the Szent Imre University Teaching Hospital. In 2017, he obtained a PhD and is actively involved in several international clinical studies. Dr. Dienes is dedicated to practicing the full spectrum of ophthalmology, excluding pediatric ophthalmology.
His current focus in refractive surgery is primarily on lens replacement procedures. Dr. Dienes strives to apply his extensive experience across various fields of ophthalmology to benefit his patients. His ultimate goal is to achieve high levels of patient satisfaction following refractive procedures.
Dr. Éva Tóth earned her medical degree from the University of Szeged in 2004. She joined the ophthalmology residency program in Szeged, which she briefly interrupted to gain international experience in Australia. Dr. Tóth then continued her training at the prestigious Ophthalmology Clinic in Budapest, where she completed her ophthalmology board examination with distinction in 2012.
Following her certification, Dr. Tóth worked in the ophthalmology department at Saint Pantaleon Hospital in Dunaújváros. During this time, she pursued continuous professional development and held positions in several specialized clinics. This allowed her to master a broad spectrum of surgical procedures at an advanced level, complementing her extensive theoretical knowledge. Additionally, she performed cataract surgeries in a one-day surgery framework at another institution.
